Community Fashion Show - A Sell Out
Tickets are now on sale for Southwell's premiere fashion event
which will be compered/hosted by TV's Rob Glass. The community
show which takes place on Thursday 25th February at the Minster
School is set to become a major showcase for Southwell traders
and not just clothes, "we already have 7 clothes retailers and a
growing number of other traders who will have stands in the
heartspace," says organiser Sinead O'Grady. "It looks like being
a great show." Show Director Tracy Radford agrees, "For the £10
ticket price guests will be greeted with a glass of sparkling
wine and canapés
provided by La Parissienne. We are also hoping to provide goody
bags for everyone too. What great value!" The show will be a
community event with the shops' own models being joined by the
Minster School students and Southwell care Project clients.
Doors open at
6.45pm and the show will finish at 9.45pm with time allocated
for browsing the 'traders' village'. Tickets can be purchased at
any of the following outlets: Benets, Real Clothing, MixMix,
Elizabeth Jane, The White Room, Twice a Lady and Dressplace, or
alternatively, from Southwell Care Project at 14, Westgate

Unanima
Unanima, our Performing Art Project meets weekly at the Minster
School, Southwell on Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm. The
project is run by Tracy Radford and Jayne Lewis with help from
Minster Students.
Unanima performed at the main Showcase, which was
held at Mansfield Palace Theatre, on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday
17th February. Congratulations to all who took part.
